After publishing WILDERNESS SURVIVAL in June, 2021, I have been blown away by the amount of men who have completed this curriculum and reached their personal summit of becoming more Godly men, husbands, and fathers. What is most encouraging is how truly hungry men are in the body of Christ to grow spiritually, and WILDERNESS SURVIVAL has ignited a revival in churches across this world.
I could have never anticipated how positive the response has been to this discipleship format of men studying God’s Word together, but it has undoubtedly been every man’s favorite part of the process. However, for those men who have challenged themselves to reach new heights, discussing campfire questions with their wife, fiancé, or girlfriend has been the most powerful aspect of transforming this curriculum from a men’s study into a marriage and parenting study as well.
It is the secret sauce which separates the men from the boys!
As for me in 2023, I have led two groups of over 50+ men (single and married) in my home church and in a virtual format, and I can assure you that witnessing so many guys planting a flag in the ground and determining in their hearts to become transformed by the power of God’s Word is nothing short of inspirational and miraculous. That just doesn’t happen these days, but it proves men are ready to venture deep into the wilderness and become the husbands and fathers God calls them to be. They simply need a leader to facilitate the process and model what transparency and vulnerability look like to help them understand what makes this curriculum so special and unique.
I pray that wherever you are, WILDERNESS SURVIVAL would ignite a spark of curiosity and interest in you to take your spiritual journey with God to new heights. You just have to overcome your fear, take a chance, and get a group of men together (if possible) who are just as eager to grow in their faith as you are. Trust me! There are plenty of guys out there who are ready and willing to do a study like this. They just need the opportunity made available. But don’t worry, the study will lead itself by the power of the Holy Spirit. You just have to get the ball rolling and be willing to let your guard down!

“I’ve never experienced anything like WILDERNESS SURVIVAL before. It just took me on a roller coaster ride I wasn’t expecting and taught me HOW to walk with Christ as a Godly, spiritual leader.
